Privacy Policy (Long Version)

We respect your privacy and take protecting it seriously. We believe in transparency, and we’re committed to being upfront about our privacy practices.

When You Visit Our Website

Posture Monitor website uses Google Analytics to help analyze how visitors use this site. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are small text files placed on your computer, to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form.

The anonymous information generated by Google Analytics cookies is transmitted to Google, not us. This information is processed to compile statistical reports on website activity for this site.

When You Purchase Posture Monitor

During registration you will be required to provide your name and email address. They are never shared with anybody.

Registration and payment information entered through our website is transferred over a secure connection.

We do not view, retain, share or store your payment information; in fact, it never even touches our infrastructure. We entirely rely on PayPal and Amazon to handle payment processing for us.

When You Use Posture Monitor

Posture Monitor keeps a database of your posture quality scores on your computer. When you are present at your computer and when your posture is able to be read, it stores the average posture quality score once a minute, along with time stamps. It uses this data to plot your posture quality and your sitting periods over time. This database also contains users' application settings and profile pictures taken during user registration. None of this data is ever transmitted to us or anywhere else. As a matter of fact, we don’t even have a server database to store it. The only data we store and track is application instance ID. We use this to track installations, so we know how many people are using our application.

Posture Monitor during its operation analyzes the 3D camera depth frames (the information about the shape of your body) without storing them. No video or audio data is ever stored or transmitted anywhere.

When you contact us for help using the Contact form, we collect your name and email address along with additional information you provide in your request, so that we can provide you with assistance and a better service experience.
